After we *finally* made it to the Staten Island Ferry we got on board and figured out the right side of the boat to be on we found some seats and off we went!
Cool view of Manhatten from the ferry. Boy, the colours are washed out on Typepad. Not sure why its like this on here....the photo is really brightly coloured but is totally washed out on here....drives me nuts. Do you hear me Typepad? Why, oh why are my photos are looking like crap on here now? You changed something awhile ago and I noticed! You didn't think I would but I did!!!! Okay, my rant for today is over...
The Statue of Libery....all washed out again....see my rant above....its really a pretty picture just not on here....
The girls and I with the Statue growing out of Emily's head.
This sign made me laugh! I can't imagine picking my gynecologist from a sign on the ferry!
The whole city looks like a movie set to me. This was down in the Financial District.
Another cool pic from the Financial District.
The bull in the Financial District. No, we didn't wait in the line to rub its balls...just took this pic from across the street!
The church right beside Ground Zero that became the gathering place after 9/11
A very old cemetary beside the church. The gravestones were impossible to read they were so old.
Ground Zero. It was a very surreal experience to see it. I can't describe it at all....sorry.
This didn't help us at all. Took the wrong subway again.
Finally made it up to Grand Central Station!
Grand Central Station!
Anyone know what this is? *smile*
Again, I'm breaking my rule and posting other people's children but you can't identify them by this pic so I am going to go for it. This really is the way the kids walked around together. Love it!
